MDGA Virtual Mini Dairy Goat Show
Fall 2013

Ring 2 - Katie Wolf

The most complete package in the lineup is the junior buck kid.  He is the most correct in general appearance, with a great hock angulation and a smooth front end, combined with a beautiful head and correct ears.  He is high and wide into the escutcheon.  He is one of the most dairy bucks, with sharp withers and great length of bone.  The junior kid will be my Mini-Nubian Champion Buck.

In selecting reserve champion, the next most complete package is the three-year-old.  While his 2/3 drop style ears are not quite ideal for a 3rd generation, he definitely makes up for it in all other areas.  In general appearance, he is correct on his feet and legs and smooth about the front end.  He is uphill to the withers and shows reasonable levelness across the topline.  He is flatboned and dairy, while maintaining great body capacity.  The three-year-old will be the Reserve Champion.
