Choosing the Grand Champion Senior doe was very interesting. I have not had the opportunity to see a lot of mini Nubians for some time I was pleasantly surprised by the progress being made in breed character. There were a number of lovely Nubian-type heads to judge. It was wonderful. Congratulations on your hard work. I feel the grand champion combines that breed character with a correct deep yet dairy body and a well attached udder with milkable teats. For these reasons she is my Grand champion Sr. Doe

Reserve Champion in Mini Nubian Senior Doe: 5 years and older, single entry

For my Reserve Champion I am going with a doe that has held up over time and is showing she can out work many younger does and still look good. She has been in milk 1 year and 7 months, at this stage of lactation she has more than adequate capacity on a well attached udder. She is standing on short tight pasterns and good legs. She is deep at the heart girth and has that dairy wedge we are looking for.

Both the Grand and Reserve Champions are lovely examples of the Mini Nubian Breed.
