1) This is a well build little doe. She has excellent dairy character, as well as length and width throughout. She is upstanding and level and this is going to give her the advantage over doe 2.

2) 2 is placing over 3 for her levelness and blending through the shoulder. I would like to see a little more width on this doe in order for her to move up.

3) 3 is placing over 6 for her depth of body, as well as her blending through the shoulder.

6) This doe is very similar to the doe in front of her, she just has a little bit more steepness of rump that pushes her back. 6 is placing over 4 for her width and depth of body.

4) 4 is placing over 8 for her greater amount of levelness across the topline.

8) This little doe has a lot of potential she has nice blending throughout, this is going to place her over 7. I would just like to see her rump below her shoulders when I look at her topline.

7) 7 is placing over 5 for her greater amount of levelness across the topline. She needs a little bit more blending through the shoulders and rump in order to be placed higher.

5) This little doe has excellent width through her chest and escutcheon. Unfortunately her rump is way above her shoulders, as a result of this she is not as competitive in this class.

This is our class of Senior Mini-Nubian doe kids.

We start out with our #1 entry as our first placed doe.  She excels over our #3 doe in general appearance in the topline area.  She is a more uphill doe who is more level from hips to pins.  She appears more smoothly blended in the shoulder and sharper at the withers.  She also has an advantage in body capacity with a wider chest and moving into a wider crops.

#3 over #8 in general appearance, she stands on short stronger pasterns, straighter front legs from the front view, and toes slightly tighter.  She also excels in the area of dairy character with more rear leg angulation from side view.

#8 will place over #6 for general appearance while she stands more correctly over her front legs, she also displays more extension of the brisket that we are looking for.  In body capacity she is wider and more open in the barrel right on through into the escutcheon.

#6 is over #7 in general appearance she is a more balanced doe smoother blended with a longer leaner neck.  She stands on straighter front legs with toes pointing more forward.

#7 is over #2 for general appearance in the legs and feet, this doe stands on stronger rear pasterns.  She also appears to have a stronger topline in the area of the chine.  She has more angularity in the rear leg from both the front and side view.

#2 is over #5 in the area of general appearance she displays a longer leaner neck.  We see more dairy character in the area of rear angulation in the side view of the legs.

Our #5 doe is over the #4 doe for general appearance in the feet and leg area.  She stands straighter on the rear leg from the hocks down.  In the area of body capacity we see a wider chest and more angularity in the rear leg from behind, opening up the escutcheon area.

We commend #4 doe for her strength of bone.
