Best Sr. Doe & Best Udder in Show

When we look over the senior does with the idea of choosing a Best Doe in Show today, there is a doe that brings the most points from the score card and has a unique advantage.  This particular doe is the smoothest blending in terms of her general appearance.  She is really correct in her conformation from her topline, to her front end assembly, and to her feet and legs.  She shows us angularity and openness.  She has the body capacity needed for her to withstand a long lactation and be a productive dairy doe.  In terms of mammary system she is the most balanced in the lineup.  She has a capacious mammary that is well attached to her body.  She has good medial suspensory ligament support as well as the desired lateral attachments. Her rear udder is high and has a beautiful wide arch.
Her fore udder blends smoothly into the body wall and has adequate extension for her size. Her teat size is excellent and they are not too far out to the side.
Your Best in Show Senior doe and Best Udder in Show will be the AOM Champion doe, the Mini Alpine.
