I am placing this group of Mini-Alpine yearlings, B,
C, F, D, E, A.
Starting of the class with entry B today. She is a
doeling that is more level over her topline and
shows us a slight advantage in extension of brisket.
She does yield smoothness of blending from her neck
into those withers to the doe standing in second
place. In terms of her dairy character, she is a
doe that is angular and open throughout.
C is placing over F today in her turn for a slight
advantage in width and power throughout. When
viewed from the side doeling C is fuller in the
crops. However she will yield some points in dairy
character as far over all angulation.
F is placing over D in her turn for body capacity.
She is a doe that is deeper throughout and shows
greater width from the chest into the rear barrel.
D is placing over E today for her tightness of
elbow when viewed from the front and a more
appropriate rear leg angulation. This is a very
close placing and she will yield some width of
chest to doeling E standing in 5th today.
I am placing E over A today for her advantage in
chests width and deepness we are seeing in the
rear barrel of the two does today.
Doeling A should be commended for her sharpness
of withers and length of bone throughout.
