I am placing this class of Intermediate Doelings, C,
B, E, A, G, F, D.
We start the class with a doe in first that exhibits
general smoothness of blending when viewed at all
angles. She shows us a correct front end assembly
when viewed from the side. She also has the
advantage in width of rump and levelness thurl to
thurl. She will yield levelness of rump hips to
pins to the doe standing in second.
B is placing over E today in her turn for a slight
advantage in front end assembly when viewed from the
side, showing more extension to her brisket today.
She also has the advantage in spring of rear rib and
slightly more correct dairy wedge when viewed from
the top.
E is placing over A for the sharpness we see at the
withers and she has the slight advantage in
tightness of elbow when viewed from the side. She
also shows a slight advantage in dairy character,
the 4th place doe tends to get course when viewed
from the top.
I am placing A over G today width and openness we
see in the escutcheon. She will yield to the doe
standing in 5th place today, better rear leg
angulation when viewed from the side.
G is placing over F for strength and smoothness of
blending over the topline. She also has the
advantage of width chest and slight advantage of
more spring to the rear rib and depth of barrel.
F is placing over D in her turn today in strength of
feet and legs, both front and rear. She is also
showing us a longer leaner neck that blends more
smoothly into her withers.
Doeling D is to be commended for her dairy wedge
when viewed from the top.
