I have placed this class of Intermediate Mini Nubian
doelings: B, D, F, G, A, C, M, O, H, L, K, N, I, J, E.
Starting off this class with a doe
that is uphill, balanced, and proportional in her
general appearance. She has a slight advantage in
dairy character, being a bit longer, leaner in the neck
and having a more desired wedge shape when viewed from
the top.
D is placing over F today for her
advantage in general appearance. She is just a
more smoothly blending doe throughout.
F is placing over G today for her
strength in dairy character being leaner about the neck
and more open in her rear rib.
G is placing over A today for her
strength of bone and feet and legs. She will yield
a more appropriate dairy wedge to the doe behind her.
A is placing over C for her
levelness of back and smoothness of blending from her
neck into her withers.
C is placing over M in her turn for
the advantage we see in dairy character and angularity.
The doe behind her is more coarse in her type.
M is placing over O today for the
advantage we see in width of chest and hip.
O is placing over H for a slight
advantage in length of body. She will yield
brisket extension in her front end assembly to the doe
behind her.
H places over L today for her
advantage we see in terms of being more uphill and
blending more smoothly from the neck into her withers.
L places over K in her turn for the
levelness of hip we see, as well as being more correctly
set about the rear legs.
K places over N today for the
advantage we see in spring of rear rib.
N places over I in her turn for the
strength, width, and depth we see in the chest and heart
girth. She will yield levelness of topline to the
doe standing behind her.
I places over J in her turn for the
advantage we see in smoothness of blending from the neck
into the withers, as well as having a more desired slope
to her rump. She will yield some width to the doe
behind her.
J is placing over E today for the
width we see in the area of the escutcheon as well as a
slight advantage to length of body when viewed from the
top.
E commended for her
long, lean neck and her correctness in feet and legs.
