CLASS #1—ECABDFHG

1.       Entry E stands at the head of the line, excelling in general appearance.  He has a level topline with good height in the withers, and an acceptable rump slope;  he places over C with more correct structure in feet and legs as well as in shape of escutcheon;  F grants depth to the buck in second place;

2.       C places over A for being more uphill in the withers, having much greater depth and more correct feet and legs, especially in the front pasterns;

3.       A stands ahead of B for strength in general appearance, especially in the chine region of the topline; he also is showing more correct angulation in the rear legs;

4.       B places over D for width throughout, seen in greater width in the chest floor as well as greater width in the rear where one can see a more correctly shaped escutcheon;

5.       D stand over F for greater height in the withers and more correct angulation in the rear legs;  he will grant greater depth and spring of rib to the seventh place buck;

6.       F is our seventh place buck; he stands ahead of H for that greater depth and spring of ribs;

7.       H stands ahead of G for more levelness over the topline and more correct angulation in the rear legs;

8.       G is to be commended for his correctly-shaped escutcheon;
