Placings:D C E H B I A G F
D excels the class in the quality of her mammary
system. When compared to C she has a wider rear
udder and better teat placement.
C is placing
over E for her strength of topline, being stronger
and straighter in the area of the chine. In body
capacity she is also deeper in the heart and chest.
E is placing over H for her dairy character, being
of more flat boned and in breed character more
pendulous in the ears
H is a strong doe I admire, and would love to
see her when more recently fresh. She excels B today
for her strength of medial as well as her strength
of bone, and more correct front end assembly with
greater
depth of heart extending below the elbow and
extension of brisket
B is placing over I for being wider and more
full into the
rear udder and her greater extension of fore udder.
She also excels
I in breed character with more pendulous ears
I is placing over A for her height and width up
into the escutcheon arch and in topline being more
upstanding and straighter from hip to wither
A is placing over G for her evidence of
productivity, with more fullness in the mammary both
fore and rear
G is placing over F for her greater strength of
bone and in topline being more level from hips to
pins
F is to be commended for her strength in
dairy character, showing us a nice wedge shape with
sharp tight shoulders, increasing in width through
the hips

I place this class of three year
old milkers D, E, C, A, B, H, I, F, G with E having the
1st place udder.
A very strong pair of does to start
the class. D places over E for having a longer foreudder
and a slightly wider rear udder. She will grant some
mammary system balance to E. D also has an advantage in
dairy strength- showing more flatness of bone.
E places over C for dairy
character- having a longer, leaner bone pattern with
more angulation.
She is also longer and leaner about the neck and
caries her mammary system higher.
C places over A for having more
udder capacity as well as a strength in body capacity.
She is deeper in her rear barrel into her flank and has
more strength of bone- particularly about the front
legs.
A places over B in a close placing.
A is longer and leaner about the neck and front end
assembly. She also is slightly higher on her rear
pasterns and straighter on her front legs.
B places over H for having stronger
mammary system attachments, with and udder held more
snuggly against the body wall.
H places over I for having more
mammary system capacity with teats more ideally set
inward. She also is a longer bodied doe.
I places over F for her advantage
of being in milk over a dry doe. I is a smoothly blended
doe with uphill stature and has an advantage over F for
her body capacity.
F places over G for an advantage in
dairy strength- being more sharp and angular throughout.
She also has a higher and wider escutcheon when viewed
from behind.
G should be commended for her depth
of body.
