I place this class of yearling
mini-nubians C, J, F, E, H, D, A, I, G (NO B ) with C
having the 1st place udder
C places over J for the advantage
she has in the mammary system- showing us an udder with
stronger fore and rear attachments. She also is a deeper
bodied doe.
J places over F for having a more
capacious mammary with a wider rear udder. She also is
stronger in body capacity with having a wider chest
floor.
F places over E in a similar pair
of does for having an advantage in general appearance-
being more level across her topline in the area of the
loin and rump. She also stands straighter on the
foreleg.
E places over H for having a more
ideal mammary system shape with teats more appropriately
placed on the floor of the udder.
H places over D for having stronger
rear udder support and attachments. She also has more
udder capacity with a higher, wider rear udder.
D places over A for having an
advantage in more ideal teat placement with teats facing
more correctly downwards. She also is stronger in dairy
character- having a longer, more angular bone pattern.
A places over I for her advantage
in general appearance- being more level across her back
and rump and being more uphill in stature. She also has
a slightly more smoothly blended foreudder.
I places over G for showing us more
udder capacity as well as strength of bone.
G should be commended for her dairy
sharpness and angularity.
