- I place
this class of three year old bucks A, C, B, D.
A is an easy top buck for me,
placing over C for his advantage in body capacity. He is
deeper in the barrel, wider in the chest floor and shows
more width between the hocks.
C places over B in a close placing
for his advantage in depth of body. He also has more
rear leg angulation although he will grant the strength
in front pasterns to B.
B places over D for having a more
proper rear leg set with more width between the hocks.
He also has a slight advantage in dairy strength, being
a longer bodied buck.
D should be commended for his
smoothness of blending in his front end assembly.
