In this class of two year old milker mini Nubian
milker does, #7 is an easy choice to start this class.
#7 places over #1 for her advantages in mammary system.
She has a stronger medial suspensory ligament and a
better teat placement. In side profile, we see
more capacity of rear udder behind the rear leg with
less tendency for the mammary system to be tilted in its
placement underneath the body. She also has a
longer smoother fore udder attacment. #7 is also a
deeper rib doe.
#1 places over #4 for her advantages in general
appearance. She has a smoother blending front
shoulder assembly. She is more uphill at the
wither, straighter over her topline, and flatter in her
rump.
#4 excels #5 in a more correct shape to her rear udder
with a shorter more delineated teat. She also has
more dairy strength as she is freer from excess fleshing
and more prominent in her vertebrae. In general
appearance, I prefer the correctness of fore leg when
viewed from the front.
In reference to the placing of #5 over #3, we just have
a lot more bloom to both the mammary system and body
capacity. The mammary system is more capacious and
appears to be more productive. In body capacity,
she has a wider chest floor, deeper heart girth, a lot
more development to her rear rib, and more substance of
bone.
#3 over #8 in reference to both dairy strength and body
capacity. We see more strength of bone to go with
the openness and more depth to the rear rib and overall
width through the entire frame of the goat. #3
also has an advantage in general appearance in the
straightness of fore leg in both front and side profile.
#8 has a more correct mammary system than #6, not only
in shape but lateral ligaments, and fore and rear udder
attachments as well. #8 also excels in dairy
strength with more sharpness and openness throughout.
In general appearance, #8 stands on a more correct rear
leg as they are more perpendicular from hock to pastern.
#6 places over #9 next as she is a better combination of
productivity in relationship to her mammary system,
strength and substance and width in relationship to body
capacity, and breed character in relation to general
appearance.
#9 edges #10 in an advantage in general appearance.
She is more true in her breed type in the head and
overall body frame. She has an advantage in dairy
strength with her sharpness of wither and more incurving
thigh.
#10, while lacking in Nubian breed character, excels in
mammary system to #2. She has more width and
capacity to the fore and rear udder and a stronger
medial suspensory ligament. In body capacity, she
has a deeper rear rib and more development to her
barrel.
#2 will be commended for her sharp withers.
