My placings for this class are 2-7-6-5-9-1-8-3-4
2 places over 7 for her advantage in mammary system. She has
a more productive udder with greater width and capacity
to both the fore and rear udder. In body capacity,
she is a deeper hearted doe who shows more increasing
depth from the point of elbow back to her flank. (In
general appearance, I do prefer the less control of the
ear and better breed type to the head.)
7 places over 6 for her advantages in general appearance. She
is more uphill at the shoulder and blends more
harmoniously from neck into shoulder. She is more
level over her topline with a smoother junction between
the chine and loin, and more desirable slope to her
rump. In reference to dairy strength, she is
sharper withered, freer from excess flesh, and more
incurving in her thigh.
6 defeats 5 for her advantage in mammary system. I prefer the
correct rear udder shape with a strong medial suspensory
ligament. She has a teat of a more desirable
length and delination. The floor of the
udder is longer and held higher above the hocks.
She has a higher smoother rear udder as well. As
for general appearance, she has a straighter front leg
in front profile.
5 places over 9 for her advantages in body capacity. She is a
wider chested, deeper ribbed doe with greater strength
and substance of bone. She is a stronger doe in
several aspects of general appearance. I prefer
the longer wider topline, flatter rump, and better breed
character to her head.
9 over 1 for her advantage in mammary system. She has a
longer more capacious fore udder with a shorter more
delineated teat. She holds the floor of the udder
higher above the hocks. In general appearance, she
has a stronger front end with more length and extension
of brisket and fuller crops behind a smoother union of
the shoulder blade and wither.
1 places over 8 in mammary system. I appreciate the higher
wider rear udder. In general appearance, I
recognize a more level topline especially in the
junction of the chine and the loin.
8 now stands over 3 for her advantages in dairy strength. She
is sharper withered and more open in her rib.
She has more strength of bone to balance with the
flatness of bone. In general appearance, I prefer
the breed character.
in my bottom pair, 3 has an
advantage in general appearance with her length of
topline and rump. Her length of neck is more
proportionate to her length of cannon and topline.
4 will be commended for a pleasing shape to her rear udder.
