Placing 1-4-5-2-6-3
In our Mini Nubian junior kid class, #1 places over #4 for her
advantage in general appearance. She is smoother blended
in the front end and has a flatter rump. Her rear
legs are also more perpendicular from hock to pastern.
#1 also has an advantage in dairy strength. She
has a longer leaner neck, more sharpness at the withers,
and a flatter bone pattern.
#4 places over #5 in general appearance. She has a straighter
fore leg in front profile and has more angulation to her
hock and stifle. She is longer in her topline and
in her rump. In body capacity, she shows more
increasing depth from point of elbow back to her flank.
#4 places over #2 in general appearance. First, I prefer the
breed character advantage in ear control. Her rear
legs appear to be more parallel in rear profile and she
has more openness in her escutcheon.
#2 places over #6 in general appearance. She is a smoother
front ended kid (especially junction between point of
elbow and chest floor) with a lot more levelness of
topline and rump.
#6 places over #3 for her
advantages in dairy character being a more open ribbed
kid with a more incuriving thigh and then in breed
character she shows a more roman nose and more correct
length of ear with less control.
#3 will be commended for her width of rump.
