Katie Wolf began raising dairy goats in 2000
when her family moved to White Rock Farm in
Kearneysville, WV.
The dairy herd began
with an Oberhasli doe and soon expanded to
include LaManchas, Nigerians, and a few
Saanens. The Mini-Mancha program began in
2005.
Through the dairy goats,
Katie became extremely active in 4-H and
FFA, competing on multiple judging teams at
the national level, which she continued into
college.
She earned her ADGA judging
license at the 2013 convention in Asheville
and was shortly thereafter chartered in as
an MDGA judge.
While she is in graduate
school at the University of Kentucky, her
mom cares for the herd of now primarily
Oberhasli and Oberhasli grades,
with a
few Nigerians, Mini-Manchas, Mini-Obers, and
a LaMancha making up the rest of the herd.
